Summer School

QuantumSavory helps organize the QNumerics Summer School on Numerical Methods in Quantum Information Science, a hands-on program for QIS researchers who want stronger software and numerical-computing skills.

The current QNumerics edition is planned for June 21-27, 2026 at UMass Amherst. The school combines lectures with hackathons. Topics include:

general software engineering and cluster tools,
scientific programming, ODEs, optimization, and autodifferentiation,
GPU programming,
wavefunction simulation,
tensor networks,
stabilizer formalism and quantum error correction,
optimal control,
discrete-event modeling for quantum networks,
symbolic computer algebra basics.
