Summer School

QuantumSavory helps organize the QNumerics Summer School on Numerical Methods in Quantum Information Science, a hands-on program for QIS researchers who want stronger software and numerical-computing skills.

The current QNumerics edition is planned for June 21-27, 2026 at UMass Amherst. The school combines lectures with hackathons. Topics include:

  • general software engineering and cluster tools,
  • scientific programming, ODEs, optimization, and autodifferentiation,
  • GPU programming,
  • wavefunction simulation,
  • tensor networks,
  • stabilizer formalism and quantum error correction,
  • optimal control,
  • discrete-event modeling for quantum networks,
  • symbolic computer algebra basics.

QuantumSavory.jl appears in the quantum-network simulation sessions. See qnumerics.org for current dates, registration, logistics, and schedule details.
